First time at Araku? Don't worry, we have prepared a "Starter pack" for you with all the essentials to get your aromatic journey through the Araku valley off to a good start! Step by step we support you to fully enjoy your Araku specialty coffee.
Step n°1: The coffee
At Araku, we have 6 different organic specialty coffees, available all year round. Two for espresso or moka pot, two for filter or slow coffee and two that would work any method. All our coffees are single origin, 100% Arabica and from biodynamic agriculture. Now it's up to you to choose based on your preparation method and taste preferences.
Step #2: The right coffee maker
To prepare good specialty coffee you obviously need a good coffee maker. Manual, automatic, filter, espresso, cold brew ... There is no shortage of choices. So choose the one that best suits your needs. Our baristas have selected the best coffee makers for you to choose from.
Step #3: The Essential accessories
Whether for espresso or gentle methods, certain accessories are highly recommended to improve the consistency of your extractions and make your work easier every morning. Manual grinders, electric scales, cups, coffee filters, cleaning products... We have everything you need to get the most out of your Araku specialty coffee.

To prepare coffee with Origami, follow the same recipe as for a V60 . These two conical coffee makers also use the same filters.
Quite! To be considered a specialty coffee, you must obtain an SCA score of at least 80. Araku coffees have all received scores of at least 86.
