Our coffees
With us, all our exceptional coffees are certified Organic and Fair Trade, but we don't stop there. For more than 20 years, we have also applied the principles of biodynamic agriculture and agroforestry. Our vision goes beyond simply producing organic coffee, as we aspire to demonstrate the potential of a viable economic model, focused on soil and ecosystem regeneration.
Araku coffee is an acronym of origin, meaning that all our beans come from the same place. From the ARAKU highlands in India. This region is located in the heart of the Eastern Ghats mountains in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This geographical specificity makes it possible to bring together all the optimal conditions for the cultivation of specialty coffee.
All Araku coffees are 100% Arabica, pure Indian origin, organic and grown according to the principles of agroforestry.
Araku coffees are evaluated each year by the SCA (specialty coffee association) according to strict taste and production criteria. The final score, if it is greater than 80/100, awards specialty coffee certification. Guaranteeing exceptional quality of coffee beans. All Araku coffees are specialty coffees and are rated between +86 and +90. Which ranks our coffees among the best coffees in the world.
Most of our organic coffees are available in bean and ground versions, in 200g tin, 200g pouch and 1kg pouch. We have also developed two specialty coffee references in compostable and Nespresso compatible capsules (except virtuo).
Araku coffee capsules are recyclable and compostable (certified “home compost”). Entirely made from organic waste, these Nespresso compatible organic coffee capsules decompose in 20 weeks.
