The HARIO glass dripper for V60 is ideal for specialty coffee enthusiasts looking for precise and controlled extraction. Made in Japan, its conical shape, its 60° inclined interior ridges and its wide base diameter promote optimal water flow during infusion, thus ensuring aromatic development and complexity of incomparable richness. Unlike its ceramic version, the Hario glass dripper allows for better visibility of the extraction and thus greater precision in preparation.

Preparing filter coffee in a V60

Place the glass Hario filter holder and filter on the carafe. Rinse the coffee maker and filter holder with hot water and discard the water. Tare the scale, pour in the freshly ground coffee, then tare again. Start the timer as soon as the first drop of water comes into contact with the coffee. Pre-infuse: 60ml of water - up to 30 seconds. At 30 seconds, add 190ml of water (to reach 250g on the scale). Let it brew for 15 seconds before pouring the remaining 250ml of water (to reach 500g on the scale). Let it brew for between 2 and 3 minutes. Remove the V60 dripper and aerate the coffee by swirling the carafe.
